Trip Report: Fort Clinch 4-24-21 Our trip to Ft. Clinch did not produce the hoped for wave of Warblers. We divided into 2 groups with one led by Laura Johannsen and the other by me. Her group observed the same Northern Parula, Yellow-throated Warbler and Common Yellowthroat that my group observed. However, her group also had a Prothonotary Warbler while we saw an American Redstart. Five Warbler species is a far cry from the 15 Warbler species seen a week ago at Ft. Clinch. Over this past weekend I counted only 10 Warbler species reported in all of Nassau County. I will forward photos taken on the trip by separate email. At the fishing pier we had both Greater and Lesser Black-backed Gulls. In total I counted at least 40 species that were heard or seen on our trip.Good birding.Bill George Post navigation Trip Report: Crooked River State Park 3-24-21Trip Report: Crane Island 5-1-21
